Colombian Artifacts :

In essence the gold country, the metalworking methods here were very elaborate. We are talking about archaeological gold (with a greater or lesser copper content) and Tumbaga (an alloy of gold, copper and silver) whose initial development in lost-wax casting dates back to the first millennium BC.

The predominant cultures in this territory (Calima, Tumaco, Narino, Cauca Valley, Muicas, Zemu, Tairona) also left us with some exceedingly beautiful terracotta works.
